In early February, our Year 10 and Year 11 Geography students completed their IGCSE Fieldwork in Larnaca as part of a residential field trip! From bustling streets to evolving architecture, our students conducted hands-on fieldwork, unraveling the layers of change shaping this vibrant city and conducting questionnaires on local residents and visitors. On Day 2, they ventured to the Zygi coastal area, where they ivnestigated rates of erosion and deposition. Armed with curiosity and scientific tools, they collected data, which was later analysed and presented in order to revisit their original hypotheses.

Tsiknopempti was an event not to be missed, and our school pulled out all the stops to create an impressive and highly playful (''tsikno'‘) atmosphere!

Once again, our Greek department organized traditional games for the entire school, offering children the chance to enjoy a delightful morning filled with laughter, joy, and fun activities. From egg races to sack races, rope games, balloon races, and fabric tails for chasing, our basketball court transformed into a hub of excitement. The air was filled with laughter, and the vibrant carnival costumes displayed the unique personalities of each child.  A big thank you goes out to the Parents' Association for their "tsiknisma" efforts, treating everyone at our school to traditional dishes such as souvlaki, halloumi, and burekia!
