Geography Field Trip
In early February, our Year 10 and Year 11 Geography students completed their IGCSE Fieldwork in Larnaca as part of a residential field trip! Day 1 was all about diving into urban change and regeneration as they explored the central business district of Larnaca. From bustling streets to evolving architecture, our students conducted hands-on fieldwork, unraveling the layers of change shaping this vibrant city and conducting questionnaires on local residents and visitors. On Day 2, they ventured to the Zygi coastal area, where they ivnestigated rates of erosion and deposition. Armed with curiosity and scientific tools, they collected data, which was later analysed and presented in order to revisit their original hypotheses.
It was definitely an invaluable experience for all!
